Staff Auditor

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Two or more years of audit experience.
A current CPA license and public accounting experience are a plus but are not required.

Responsibilities

Perform detailed procedures on financial statement account balances.
Prepare and adjust workpapers using client trial balances.
Research accounting issues and identify potential management letter comments.
Discuss potential engagement concerns with the supervisor.
Participate in engagement planning and assist with more complex audit and accounting work.
Prepare compiled and reviewed financial statements under supervision.
Draft annual financial statements and footnote disclosures.
Perform other assigned accounting, audit, and consulting duties, with staff training responsibilities where assigned.
